This project has been carrying out imaging studies of the solar oscillations at moderately high spatial resolution (i.e., at 5 arcseconds per pixel) since October of 1995. The main objectives of the Crimean Team for that period were: data acquisition, reduction amd analysis. We have improved our approach for spherical harmonic decomposition based on compensating instrumental large-scale nonlinearities (L.Didkovsky et al. 1995, ASP Conf.Ser. 76, 536) in each solar image.
Diagnostic diagrams for zonal and sectorial harmonics obtained for 11.5 hours observation at the Crimean Solar Tower on May, 15 1997 showed clearly resolved power ridges up to l = 500.
Crimean side of this International Project has a possibility for supplying of Solar Community with Dopplergrams (Velocity Maps), Magnetograms and Intensity images in Na D spectral lines taken earlier than everywhere (at about 4 - 5 UT) what would be interesting for detecting pre-flares situations and for comparing our sodium spectral lines images with others. We are able to make regular (each observing day) upgrading of this homepage and hope to have some financial support from Solar Community for setting up a new CCD 1024x1024 camera under our joint Project as well as for improving our Internet connection. We expect to have solar observations with MOF at the Solar Tower in 1999 from March to December (dependent on the weather conditions).
